Story Consulting & Creative Development
Got an idea you can’t quite crack? A script that needs some serious
love? Or maybe a pitch that’s just… almost there? Let’s fix that.
I offer one-on-one creative consulting and development sessions for
writers, producers, and creators who want to level up their
stories—whether it’s punchy comedy, a dramatic arc, or world-building
that actually works.
What I Do
Whether you’re starting with a rough concept or staring down a final
draft that still doesn’t feel right, I can help you shape, sharpen, and
polish your story. This isn’t theory—it’s hands-on, practical
development work from someone who’s written everything from
Emmy-winning animated sketch to serialized comedy and feature
length scripts.
Services include:
Creative Brainstorms: One-on-one Zoom sessions to unpack your
idea, punch up a premise, or structure a pitch.
Outline & Beat Sheet Support: I’ll help you clarify structure, theme,
tone, and pacing before you write.
Script & Page Passes: Detailed notes on your screenplay, pilot, or
short—what’s working, what isn’t, and how to elevate it.
Dialogue & Comedy Punch-Ups: Let’s sharpen the jokes, improve
rhythm, and make your characters sing.
World-Building Help: For genre projects, I’ll help build internal logic,
lore, and stakes that actually matter.
You’ll get clear, actionable feedback and creative solutions, tailored to
where you are in the process—not just vague encouragement or notes
that leave you more confused than before.
For Comic Book Creators
Writing for comics is a craft. Adapting them for the screen? That’s
another one entirely. I help comic book writers and creators in two key
ways:
Story & Script Development: Whether you’re working on your first
issue or building out a full arc, I’ll help you tighten story structure,
clarify character arcs, and elevate dialogue.
Screen Adaptation Strategy: Want to adapt your comic for
animation, film, or TV? I’ll help you bridge that gap—structurally,
visually, and tonally—so your world makes the leap and lands like a
superhero!
Whether you’re a solo creator or part of a small team, I can help you
get your story where it needs to be—on the page or the screen.
What You Get
I’ve spent the last 20 years writing and producing animated television
(Robot Chicken, Spider-Man, SpongeBob, Annoying Orange, etc.),
winning 3 Primetime Emmy Awards and 2 Annie Awards along the
way. I’ve helped shape everything from sketch comedy to serialized
storytelling to bizarre genre hybrids—and I’d love to help shape yours.
